One More Chance is a 2007 Filipino romantic movie starring John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo. The film is still popular in the Philippines because of the famous quotes and lines from the movie.

The story is about a couple, Popoy and Basha, who have been together for five years. Popoy is a controlling boyfriend that makes Basha feel belittled. She then decided to break up with Popoy and resigned from their work to find herself and feel independent. Despite their friends' help, Popoy got out of control which affects his work, family, and friends. Situations got worse when Basha brought a new guy friend to their friends' dinner.

I rate this 7.5/10. I like the leading lady but not her husband there.

Slumdog Millionaire is a 2008 British Drama Movie set and filmed in India. The story is adapted from the novel Q&A by Vikas Swarup telling the story of Jamal Malik, a contestant on the Indian version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire? who is able to answer all questions correctly. He was accused of cheating because of his slumdog life. However, he explained how some events in his life help him to answer all questions.

The movie is starred by Dev Patel as Jamal Malik, Freida Pinto as Latika, Madhul Mittal as Salim Malik, and Anil Kapoor as the game show host.

I rate this film 10/10 because I like the lesson of this story. The movie inspired everyone that even a bad event in your life can be an answer to your dreams.

The Story of Accidental Hero

A Taxi Driver is a 2017 South Korean Historical Action Drama Film starring Song Kang-ho and Thomas Kretschmann. The story is about a taxi driver from Seoul who accidentally gets involved in the secret mission of a German journalist to cover the controversial events during the Gwangju Uprising in May 1980.

I rate this film 8/10. It's kind of boring at first but the thrill began when they started to cover real situations in Gwangju. The scenes on how citizens were beaten by Korean Army are dramatic. The escalating violence would hold you to stay watching the movie. I also like the decision of Mr. Kim to give his wrong name and number to Mr. Hinzpeter. I felt changes in Mr. Kim's character from opportunist to patriotic.

In the end, I learned that the movie is based on the true story of a German reporter that's why I became more interested to learn more about the Gwangju Uprising in 1980.

Miracle in Cell No. 7 is a 2013 South Korean melodrama comedy movie starring Ryu Seung-ryong, Kal So-won, and Park Shin-Hye. Currently, the movie is the seventh highest-grossing film in South Korea's history.

The film is about a mentally impaired father, Yong-go, imprisoned because of wrong accusations. Yong-go built a relationship with his cellmates when he saved the life of Yang-ho. His cellmates believe that he is an innocent man. In return, his cellmates help him to rehearse his trial and to see his daughter again by smuggling her into the prison.

100 Tula para kay Stella (100 Poems for Stella) is a 2017 Romantic Philippine Movie starring Bella Padilla and JC Santos. The story started when Fidel and Stella meet each other back in 2004 as freshmen college students pursuing a bachelor's degree in Psychology. They became close friends despite their opposite personalities. Fidel is an honor student with a speech problem, while Stella is a stubborn student who has the high ambition to become a famous rocker.

Fidel started to write poems for Stella to express his feeling but has no confidence to read these to her. His love through writing poems span four years while Stella pursues her dreams by having various boyfriends who have a connection to the music industry. However, their love story did not end well because Stella decided to settle down with his former friend Von who taught her to love without expectation.

I rate this film 8/10 because the story touches my heart yet I hate the way Bella portrayed her character. She doesn't look like a young student and a rocker, thankful that JC saved him, he acted very well.

100 Days with Mr. Arrogant is a 2004 Romantic Comedy Korean movie starring Ha Ji-Won and Kim Jaewon. The story is about a high school girl student who meets a college guy. After Ha-Yeong accidentally scratches Hyung-Jun's car, Ha-Yeong writes up an "Enslavement Agreement" in order to pay for the damage to his car.

"Don't be scared to say Love, because saying Love never hurt anyone"

Like Love is a 2012 Thai Romantic Comedy Film about a perfect guy who lacks the courage to approach a girl. He decided to ask for help from a group of friends who make a living by setting up a love confession business.

Bad Genius is a 2017 Thai Heist Thriller Film starring Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying as Lynn, a straight-A student who does an exam cheating scheme to earn money. The movie is inspired by real-life news of students cheating on SAT. Bad Genius became word of mouth in Thailand that resulted to be placed first at the Thai box office two weeks after its release in the cinema.

My rate is 9/10. I watched it in the cinema alone. The movie is interesting and really funny.
